Spain: TV3, Mediapro launch new streaming services

Regional public TV group CCMA, operator of TV3 in Catalonian, has announced the launch of a FTA OTT service in Catalonian with “universal access”.
“We want to be wherever our citizens have access to content and guarantee their right to choose the content in Catalonian as other platforms do not do it”, explained Rosa Romá, president of CCMA. “We want to be a Catalonian content hub with an interactive and transmedia platform.”
Meanwhile, media group Mediapro has launched the OTT service CaixaForum+ dedicated to culture and scientific disclosure in Spanish with over 300 titles, 1,000 video pieces of specifically curated content.
