XGIMI showcases Intelligent Screen Adaptation Technology 2.0 at CES

January 4, 2023

XGIMI, adesign and industry-awarded projector and laser TV brand, will showcase its Intelligent Screen Adaptation Technology 2.0 at CES 2023.

Smart projectors are on the rise and gaining popularity because, unlike traditional projectors, they are super portable and easy to set up in moments. Smart projectors use ISA technology to automatically adapt to the surroundings to make a perfect viewing experience, be it a screen or wall. The current ISA technology takes a few moments to calibrate the screen – so XGIMI is introducing ISA 2.0 at CES, which will remove the wait time of setting up the perfect screen.

ISA 2.0 technology adds three more options to the intelligent and easy-to-use set-up function: Seamless Auto Keystone Correction, Seamless Auto Focus, and Intelligent Eye Protection. These pioneering new features are moving the intelligent projection industry forward, reaching a new level in ease-of-use.

XGIMI has made every effort to meet the needs of different home projection scenarios. Offering large-screen display quality, convenient and user-friendly set-up, smart projectors are continuing to advance rapidly thanks to these valuable features.

Seamless Auto Keystone Correction & Seamless Auto Focus: In just a few seconds, ISA 2.0 corrects and focuses the keystone very precisely, quickly and without interruption. Equipped with industry-leading 3D ToF and high precision CMOS, trillion-level data is returned and processed in real time per second, producing more accurate and faster auto-keystone and auto-focus correction.

Intelligent Eye Protection: The intelligent function detects any presence and immediately dims the light so that even if people accidentally look into the projector’s light source, their eyes are protected.

Intelligent Screen Alignment: Already part of the original ISA technology and also available in ISA 2.0 is XGIMI’s Intelligent Screen Alignment function which automatically identifies the projector screen and matches the display to each edge perfectly. This eliminates the need to manually adjust the corners.

Intelligent Obstacle Avoidance: ISA 2.0 includes Intelligent Obstacle Avoidance through a new screen sensing algorithm which identifies obstacles in the projection area. When performing keystone correction, the display accurately avoids wall obstacles to create a suitable projection surface, allowing an easy set up process for users.

More precise: 10,000 x more data analysed

A specially developed 3D ToF depth perception module and high-precision CMOS (Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor) are used in home projection. The amount of depth information perceived through the 3D ToF is ten thousand times higher than that of the previous single-point ToF. Coupled with the new XGIMI visual perception algorithm, it forms a new solution to go a step further adapting the projection smartly to its environment.

What are the improvements?

ISA technology measures the time it takes for the light wave to reflect after hitting the projection surface. The upgraded ISA technology gathers previously unattainable details of the surroundings more precisely and perfectly adjusts the projection to them.

Ease of use

In traditional projectors, the process of selecting an angle, keystone correction, and focusing is very time consuming. This is not the case with XGIMI projectors, which are incredibly easy to set up. The upgraded ISA 2.0 technology is used in the brand new MoGo 2 Pro with XGIMI’s self-developed optical engine. An incredibly user-friendly smart projector, the MoGo 2 Pro allows users to have a cinema experience at the touch of a button, without wasting time on adjusting the screen and image.
