Haque named Head of Content at BBC Three

Nasfim Haque has been appointed as Head of Content for BBC Three. She has been Interim Channel Editor of BBC Three since February 2022.

Haque has an abundance of experience in delivering content that speaks to young audiences. She will now be overseeing the BBC Three team permanently, developing and delivering a range of diverse content from suppliers across all genres and nations. In her new role, she will be continuing to ensure BBC Three offers young audiences a rich content mix of drama, comedy, entertainment, documentaries, news, film and sport. Upcoming content on for 2023 includes music competition series Project Icon, reality entertainment series Charlotte in Sunderland and a full series of the critically acclaimed Dreaming Whilst Black amongst a raft of other titles.

In her new role, Haque will report into BBC Three controller Fiona Campbell.

Haque said: “BBC Three plays a key role in bringing the next generation of audiences to the BBC so I feel privileged to be working on a channel I love and to be tasked with ensuring our content continues to reflect younger viewers all across the UK. I genuinely can’t wait to get stuck in.”

I know she is committed to keep on driving the best ideas forward on BBC Three that reflect the youth experience right across the UK and with some fabulous shows coming up in 2023, as a team we cannot wait to bring them to our audiences.”
