IABM names Geyman Head of Marketing

February 1, 2023

IABM has announced the appointment of Rosanne Geyman as Head of Marketing. Reporting to the IABM CEO, Geyman will plan, control and manage the marketing strategy for IABM, with an emphasis on digital, web, customer relationship management systems and social media alongside further developing IABM’s physical and event-based activities.

Geyman brings 15 years’ international B2B and B2C expertise. Most recently, she was Head of Commercial Marketing at the Volvo Ocean Race, where she experienced complex broadcasting delivering live multi-media content from racing boats from the middle of ocean in extreme conditions. Previously, Geyman was Head of Marketing and Communications at PLASA, the Professional Lighting and Sound Association. Her early career included senior marketing roles at Reed Exhibitions, UBM, Sports Media and Entertainment, and EMAP.

“I look forward to immersing myself in this industry having had the incredible opportunity to see the award-winning capabilities of cutting edge broadcast technology at The Volvo Ocean Race,” said Geyman. “With a wealth of marketing and communications experience across the board including  Associations, Sports properties and FTSE 100 companies I will endeavour to deliver first-class, customer-centric, digital-first marcomms campaigns.”

“Rosie’s abundant energy and drive, alongside her considerable experience of creating fully integrated, engaging marketing campaigns, will be key to helping IABM move to the next level,” added Peter White, CEO at IABM. “Having also worked in a not-for-profit at PLASA, Rosie brings with her highly relevant knowledge of the role of trade associations, which will enable her to hit the ground running. Her passion for sustainability is also fully in tune with IABM’s – and the wider industry’s – initiatives to play a full role in addressing the climate emergency. I welcome Rosie to the IABM team and look forward to her making an immediate, positive impact.”
