DAZN announces record viewing figures ahead of quarter-finals

UEFA Women’s Champions League action to return with the start of the quarterfinals tomorrow. The top-tier competition will see the best teams in Europe, including Barcelona FC, Olympique Lyonnais, FC Bayern Munchen, Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal WFC, Chelsea FC Women, AS Roma and VfL Wolfsburg battle it out in huge match ups, showcasing some of the best players in the world returning to the platform, including Lucy Bronze, Sam Kerr, Kadidatou Diani, Alexandra Popp, Leah Williamson and Ashley Lawrence.

This season’s group stage saw 20m+ views on DAZN’s YouTube channel, in addition to millions of streams on Dazn’s platform, available in over 210 territories worldwide. A significant increase on last year’s 14m + views on Dazn’s YouTube channel, more eyes have been on the group stages than ever before.

Dazn, the destination for sports fans, together with its partner YouTube, continue to broadcast the highly anticipated knockout stages for fans across the world, available only on Dazn and for free on Dazn’s UEFA Champions League YouTube channel.

Dazn now has two broadcast sponsors with leader in digital interactive entertainment, EA, joining adidas as a sponsor for the knockout stages, in a global multi-year partnership. The deal will see EA SPORTS advertising featured across all matchday global broadcasts of the knockout stage on both Dazn and on Dazn’s UWCL YouTube channel. This comes as the UWCL is available for the first time for fans to play in EA SPORTS FIFA 23. The partnership expands upon Dazn’s long-term and long-time commitment to fast-track the commercial growth of women’s football worldwide and provide unprecedented access and exposure, further enhancing and elevating the game and helping turn the players into household names.
