Murder Mystery 2 holds on to Netflix #1

Murder Mystery 2, starring Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston, held on to the Netflix #1 English film spot with 59.84 milion hours viewed in the week commencing April 3rd. The comedy now has nearly 82 milion views since it premiered on March 31st (124.26 milion hours viewed divided by 1.52 runtime hours) and has taken the #1 spot in 80 countries so far. The first instalment of Murder Mystery also remained on the films list with 22.25 milion hours viewed this week.
Meanwhile, family-feel good Chupa debuted on the list with 25.31 milion hours viewed and appeared in the Top 10 in 85 countries, while thriller Luther: The Fallen Sun had 7.53 milion hours viewed.
In its third week, The Night Agent pulled in an additional 130.48 milion hours viewed on the English TV List and entered the Most Popular List in the #9 spot with 515.57 milion hours viewed. The thriller has now amassed more than 62 milion views (515.57 milion hours viewed divided by 8.19 runtime hours). New to the list is dark comedy Beef with 34.08 million hours viewed. Starring Ali Wong and Steven Yeun, the series was in the Top 10 in 61 countries and scored a Certified Fresh score of 99 per cent on review aggregation site Rotten Tomatoes.
Love hopefuls tuned into Season 4 of Love Is Blind, which had 43.14 million hours viewed. With the upcoming finale on April 14th and Netflix’s first LIVE reunion special from Los Angeles on April 16th fans don’t have to wait too long to answer the age-old question — is love truly blind? Unseen, Wellmania and You all returned to the top 10 list.
Korean titles held their #1 spots, with action-adventure Kill Boksoon on the Non-English Films List (25.71 milion hours viewed) and drama The Glory on the Non-English TV List (18.57 milion hours viewed).
Dramas new to the Non-English Films List include Thailand’s Hunger in the #2 spot with 11.23 milion hours viewed and Turkey’s Oh Belinda with 2.65 milion hours viewed. Meanwhile, Hindi-language thriller Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga, German Academy Award-winner All Quiet on the Western Front and Polish drama Johnny maintained their standing on the list. French comedy The Takedown also re-entered the list.
On the Non-English TV side, fans continued to enjoy their favourites with Turkish thriller Who Were We Running From?, K-drama Divorce Attorney Shin, Korean romantic comedy Crash Course in Romance (on the list for 10 weeks), Season 2 of Spanish reality series I Am Georgina and Japanese romance From Me To You. New entrants on the list include Copycat Killer, the first ever Taiwanese series to enter the Top 10, and Norwegian drama War Sailor.
