Vinnie Jones fronts new series for discovery+

Vinnie Jones, the retired Premier League footballer turned Hollywood star, will show a new side of himself in a brand-new series for discovery+: Vinnie Jones: The Wild Life.
In this 6×60’ series produced by Lime Pictures, which will drop later this year, Jones goes all-in on 147 acres of land in the South of England, embarking on a mission to transform his dilapidated West Sussex farm into a sustainable utopia.
Jones’ illustrious career as a tough-tackling midfielder in the 1980s and ‘90s and as a Hollywood actor, featuring in hit movies Snatch, X-Men: The Last Stand, Gone in 60 Seconds and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, has solidified his reputation as one of the UK’s toughest, no-nonsense celebrities.
From the heights of FA Cup glory and the limelight of Hollywood, Jones’ career is a compelling story. But four years ago, his world was rocked when Tanya, his wife of 25 years, tragically passed away after a long illness. Now, Jones is looking to the future fronting his very own renovation series, sharing his passion for rewilding and restoring the disappearing British countryside. The series will see Jones and his farming family build, bond and banter as they look to the future of the estate, establishing new conservation methods and the reintroduction of species and building habitats to attract new wildlife.
“Most people know me as a professional footballer or Hollywood hardman, but what people probably don’t know is that all of that hard work has been to support my real passion: my home in the Great British countryside,” Jones said. “I was brought up living off the fruits of the land and I can’t wait to show people at home the joy of the outdoors, the beauty of the British countryside, and the reward of good old fashioned hard work.
