Hellas Sat wins Romanian satellite contract

Hellas Sat, owned by Arabsat, has secured a carriage contract from KanalD, a general entertainment channel, in Romania. The agreement covers long-term distribution on satellite from the Hellas Sat satellite at 39 degrees East.
Hellas Sat is a subsidiary of Arabsat and is based in Greece and Cyprus. Hellas Sat operates three satellites delivering video, broadband and data services in Europe, Middle East and Southern Africa.
