Switzerland: Apple TV+ on Sunrise TV

Apple TV+ is now available in Switzerland on the Sunrise TV Box as an integrated app.
“We’re launching Apple TV+ on our own TV Box as a Swiss premiere. With this, Sunrise TV is offering another exclusive benefit and, thanks to the award-winning movies and series from Apple TV+, an even larger choice of outstanding entertainment,” commented André Krause, CEO of Sunrise.
Sunrise TV users can now access Apple TV+ on their personal Sunrise TV Box home screen and from their profile-related recommendations. They can also search for content via voice control and text search. Titles available include popular series Ted Lasso (pictured), Severance, Silo, The Morning Show and Slow Horses, and movie titles include Greyhound, Fingernails and Coda, plus much more.
Apple TV+ costs CHF 10.90 per (€11.51) month. Anyone who buys an Apple device, e.g. a new iPhone, can benefit from a free trial subscription for three months. By integrating Apple TV+ into its TV platform, Sunrise has made the streaming service available to over 700,000 existing TV-subscription customers.
Meanwhile, in the run-up to Christmas, Sunrise TV is offering free access to a number of channels: from December 14th 2023 to January 10th 2024, Premium Plus (with more than 40 TV channels such as National Geographic, Romance TV or Cartoon Network) will be available for viewing at no extra cost. Additionally the ad-free French pop-up TV channel La Chaîne du Père Noël is currently available to watch for free until January 7th 2024, offering a range of cartoons, interactive games and entertainment shows.
