Spain: Movistar, DAZN renew deal

Movistar and DAZN have renewed their partnership for another three years with the sports streaming service offering all its content on Telefónica’s platform in SpainMovistar’s subscribers will be able to watch content including Formula 1, Moto GP, WTA circuit, Premier League football, Coppa Italia football, Liga F football and UEFA Women’s Champions League through MiMovistar.La Liga rights will continue to be shared by both until 2027 – with DAZN airing half of all games – per a pre-existing deal.“The renewal is our commitment to make an unmatched sports offer for all our customers with an integrated experience, accesible from anywhere,” commented Cristina Burzako, CEO of Movistar Plus+. General Manager of DAZN Spain, Bosco Aranguren, added: “Movistar’s customers will keep on enjoyinng DAZN exclusive competitions like F1, Moto GP, Premier League, UWCL and Liga F in an innovative and immersive experience through DAZN app”.
