Hong Kong, Singapore, Spain top Netflix Speed Index again

Sixteen per cent of Internet Service Providers (ISPs) increased 0.2 Mbps and 83 per cent stayed the same during December 2023 on the Netflix ISP Speed Index, a monthly update on which ISPs provide the best prime time Netflix streaming experience.
Three countries and regions were in the top performance tier for December: Hong Kong, Singapore and Spain all registered an average speed of 3.2 Mbps, mirroring November’s results.
There were no significant ISP gains or notable changes to country averages for December. MyRepublic in Indonesia and 2degrees in New Zealand both dropped from 2.8 to 2.6 Mbps. MTN in South Africa also dropped 0.2 Mbps, falling from 2.6 to 2.4 Mbps.
