Rewind Networks expands reach

Rewind Networks has expanded its reach in the Philippines, the Maldives and Papua New Guinea as partnerships with affiliates Accion, MediaNet and Digicel grow.
Accion, one of Rewind Networks’ longstanding affiliate partners with a distribution network of local cable operators across the Philippines, has distributed HITS and HITS MOVIES since 2014 and 2019 respectively. Accion will add HITS NOW to its channel line-up from May 1st.
MediaNet, a pay-TV and cable TV operator in the Maldives, debuted HITS NOW on April 1st. HITS NOW is available alongside HITS and HITS MOVIES on MediaNet, bringing the best of general entertainment TV to Maldivian audiences.
Digicel PNG, which provides TV satellite services to the whole of Papua New Guinea, is a new affiliate partner for Rewind Networks. Digicel PNG launched HITS MOVIES on its service on April 1st, bringing a line-up of blockbuster movies from the 1960s to the late 2000s to new viewers.

In 2024, HITS NOW will feature entertainment with branded reality and talent shows such as Survivor, America’s Got Talent, American Idol, Shark Tank, Hell’s Kitchen, Britain’s Got Talent,within 36 hours of their US telecast. It will also debut reality series such as The Traitors and Race To Survive: Alaska; as well as drama series such as the successful Fire Country, Sullivan’s Crossing, So Help Me Todd, and Alert: Missing Persons Unit. Game show fans can play along with The $100,000 Pyramid, Barmageddon, Celebrity Wheel of Fortune,and Celebrity Family Feud. Those craving light-hearted entertainment can kick back with comedies Lopez vs Lopez, Young Rock (pictured), The Goldbergs and Ghosts. True crime aficionados can follow real life cases with Fear Thy Neighbor, Fear Thy Roommate, Snapped: Killer Couples and Murder for Hire. And for everything Hollywood, viewers can catch up with the long running entertainment news show, Entertainment Tonight.
HITS MOVIES’ slate in 2024 includes favourites such as Alvin and the Chipmunks, Catch Me If You Can, Under Siege, Up In The Air, Little Women (1994), Julie & Julia, Fantastic Mr Fox, The Pursuit of Happyness, Kindergarten Cop, Spider-Man, Jumanji, Jurassic Park, Saving Private Ryan, and many more.
Rewind Networks’ three channels – HITS, HITS MOVIES and HITS NOW – deliver quality content to 13 countries and over 24 million households across Asia. The channels feature a curated selection of shows and movies from major studios such as Sony Pictures, Paramount, NBCUniversal, Fremantle, Lionsgate, BBC Studios, Amazon MGM Studios, Warner Bros Discovery, All3Media, Banijay and ITV Studios.
