Globo video clipping partnership with Grabyo
May 1, 2024
Globo, the Latin America media company, is utilising Grabyo’s platform to create, edit, and publish on-demand content of its live broadcasts of sports events, new, and entertainment. The videos are published through an integration between Grabyo and Globo’s media processing systems, and social media channels.
Once video clips reach Globo’s system, they are automatically stored, categorised and published to relevant Globo digital, OTT and mobile app platforms. This cloud workflow significantly reduces the time it takes for live content to be clipped and made accessible to audiences across various Globo properties.
“The collaboration with Grabyo has allowed us to create an efficient workflow for our content and editing teams, and we are excited about the possibilities this will bring to Globo,” commented Marcelo Guerra, Head of online video platforms at Globo. “We are constantly evolving in our consumer deliveries and operations, and the partnership with Grabyo has seamlessly integrated with our systems.”
“We are always eager to partner with leading broadcasters and media companies that want to innovate, reduce costs, and drive deeper audience engagement through multi-platform storytelling. We are proud to work with Globo to deliver a wide range of content to Brazilian consumers across digital, social and OTT”, added Mike Kelley, President of Americas & APAC, Grabyo. “Our cloud technology has built a streamlined workflow for Globo’s editors to service audiences on any platform or device they choose.”
