Trigger Warning debuts at Netflix #1

Action thriller Trigger Warning, starring Jessica Alba, debuted atop Netflix’s English Films List in the week commencing June 17th with 25.7 million views, making it the most-watched title of the week. Animated film Ultraman: Rising ascended to second place with 7.9 million views. Richard Linklater’s Hit Man starring Glen Powell claimed sixth place with 4.4 million views.

Season 3 of Shonda Rhimes’ Bridgerton hold strong at #1 on the English TV List with 16.5 million views. The celebrated series continued its weeks-long reign over the list, with Season 1 landing at #3 (3.5 million views), Season 2 taking the #5 spot (3 million views), and Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story claiming #10 (2.1 million views).

Returning favourites dominated the remainder of the English TV List. Season 2 of the reality dating competition series Perfect Match took the #2 spot (3.6 million views), Season 3 of fantasy adventure series Sweet Tooth was at #4 (3.1 million views), emotional drama Eric was at #6 (2.9 million views) and the feel-good series Geek Girl took #9 (2.3 million views). New series America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders entered the list in eighth place with 2.3 million views.

Poland took three spots on the Non-English Films List. Making their list debuts were the quirky comedy Inheritance in first place (10.5 million views) and the family fantasy film Kleks Academy in third place (3.7 million views). Drama-thriller Colors of Evil: Red landed in fifth place (1.9 million views). Elsewhere, Under Paris (France) rose to second place in its third week on the list, clocking 10 million views. The action-thriller, which last week claimed fifth place on the Most Popular Films (Non-English) List, has now amassed 79.6 million views since launch. 

It was a big week for debut titles on the Non-English TV List. Gritty crime drama Gangs of Galicia (Spain) took the #1 spot with 2.9 million views, Season 4 of reality dating series Love is Blind: Brazil entered at #5 (2.1 million views), genre-busting limited series Miss Night and Day (Korea) claimed #6 (1.8 million views) and Season 3 of the heartfelt dramedy Kota Factory (India) ranked #7 (1.3 million views).
