Pokémon voice cast at MCM x EGX this October

August 8, 2024

ReedPop has announced that the voice cast of the global phenomenon, Pokémon, will be appearing at MCM Comic Con x EGX across all three days of the expo this October.

First hitting screens in 1997, Pokémon has since gone on to be a smash hit spanning TV shows, video games and collectibles. 26 seasons and over 1,200 episodes later, Ash Ketchum’s journey to become a Pokémon master has cemented itself in the hearts of audiences across the world.

Fans of the series will be able to meet…

  • Sarah Natochenny – Her voice will be instantly recognisable as the series’ main character, Ash Ketchum. Since taking up the role of Ash in 2006, Natochenny has also gone on to voice over 70 other characters on the show. Beyond Pokémon, Natochenny has also lent her vocal talents to franchises such as Yu-Gi-Oh!, Ghostbusters and Grand Theft Auto.
  • Erica Schroeder – Also sometimes known as Bella Hudson, Schroeder has voiced numerous characters throughout the show, including Nurse Joy, Kenny, Bianca and countless Pokémon. Erica has voiced more than 250 characters across TV, movies and video games since beginning her career in 2002.
  • Lisa Ortiz – One of Pokémon’s original voice actors Ortiz has worked on the series since its first season. She originally voiced important Pokémon such as Ash’s Oshawott, Larvatar and Totodile, before taking over as the English dub’s primary voice director in 2019.

Autographs and photo opportunities with the cast will be available to purchase throughout the weekend.

MCM Comic Con London and EGX will take place at ExCeL London from October 25th to 27th, and will be the first time both events are under one roof. ReedPop will continue to reveal more guests throughout the coming months.
