Zattoo, Media Distillery collaborate

Zattoo, a TV streaming and TV-as-a-Service provider in Europe, and Media Distillery, an AI technology provider in video UX optimisation, have announced their new collaboration within the upcoming launch of Zattoo’s new product Stream API. This includes AI- and Machine Learning-enriched Time Marker Suite, now pre-integrated for Zattoo’s B2B managed platform service for TV streaming service operators.

With over 30 TV platform customers, Zattoo’s B2B operation supports Tier 1 operators including 1&1 in Germany, Eir in Ireland, Salt in Switzerland, and Waoo in Denmark, for whom Zattoo offers fully hosted and managed IPTV, OTT and TV-as-a-Service offerings in a white label product with features and applications for operators to deliver to customers.

Zattoo is set to launch Stream API, a suite of services, tools and platform that enables application developers and operators to build, launch and scale the next generation of streaming applications and services. Zattoo’s goal is to create a complementary and strategically curated B2B partner ecosystem to help encourage growth for the managed service offering. Media Distillery is the first technology pre-integrated partner on board, with Media Distillery’s core solutions EPG Correction Distillery and Ad Break Distillery.
