Second week at Netflix #1 for The Union

Halle Berry and Mark Wahlberg’s action-comedy, The Union, drew another 40.6 million views in the week commencing August 19th, ranking #1 in 83 countries and reaching the Netflix Top 10 in 93.
Meanwhile, Emily in Paris Season 4, Part 1 maintained the top spot on the English TV List for a second week with 14.9 million views. Fans kept returned to earlier instalments of the romantic comedy as Season 1 rose to #7 (2.2 million views) and Season 3 to #8 (2.1 million views). Season 4, Part 2 debuts on September 12th.
Raunchy comedy Incoming, directed by It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia writers and high school comedy aficionados Dave and John Chernin, debuted at #2 (9.9 million views). Also crashing the list debut party was the action-thriller from Nigeria, Tòkunbò, at #6 (4.9 million views).
Documentaries snapped up three spots this week with American Murder: Laci Peterson claiming #2 (10.6 million views) and Wyatt Earp and the Cowboy War wrangling #3 (3.9 million views) on the English TV List and Untold: The Muder of Air McNair at #3 (8.3 million views) on the English Films LIst.
Rolling into another week on the English TV List was returning favourite The Umbrella Academy’s fourth and final season which took #4 (3.5 million views) alongside reality series Love is Blind UK at #5 (2.6 million views). Matt Rife: Lucid – A Crowd Work Special kept the laughs coming for another week, taking #10 (1.9 million views)
Romantic comedy I Can’t Live Without You (Argentina) rose to claim #1 on the Non-English Films List with 5 million views. Indian titles took up four spots on the list this week including sci-fi Kalki 2898 AD at #2 (4.5 million views), thriller Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba at #6 (1.5 million views), revenge-drama Maharaja at #8 (1.1 million views) and action-adventure drama, Indian 2 at #9 (1.1 million views). Returning to the list were the action-comedy Mission: Cross (Korea) at #4 (2.6 million views) and emotional drama Lolo and the Kid (Korea) at #5 (2.2 million views). List debuts included comedy Nice Girls (France) at #3 (4.3 million views) and action anime Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Cosmos (Japan) at #10 (0.8 million views). Still swimming the Seine in its 12th week, shark thriller Under Paris (France) locked its jaws on the #7 spot (1.2 million views).
Debuting in the top spot on the Non-English TV List was emotional thriller The Accident (Mexico) with 10.4 million views. Korean titles took four spots on the list this week including charming drama Love Next Door at #2 (3 million views), psychological thriller The Frog which debuted at #4 (2 million views), romantic drama Romance in the House at #5 (1.8 million views) and reality dating series I am Solo at #8 (0.9 million views).
K-drama list debuts included the third season of Back to 15 (Brazil) at #3 (2.1 million views) and horror Terror Tuesday (Thailand) at #6 (1.7 million views). Back for another week on the list were drama Tokyo Swindlers (Japan) at #9 (0.9 million views) and Season 8 of teen drama Elite (Spain) at #10 (0.8 million views).
