RAVEL now supporting NVIDIA’s AI broadcast solution

September 9, 2024

RAVEL, developer of RAVEL Orchestrate, has announced its support for NVIDIA Holoscan for Media, a software-defined, AI-enabled platform that delivers the latest capabilities in immersion, personalisation, and interactivity to live media and broadcast pipelines. RAVEL’s support for NVIDIA Holoscan for Media means that broadcasters looking to use the NVIDIA platform now have access to an ‘easy button’ for its setup. The first content creator to deploy Holoscan for Media using RAVEL Orchestrate is global marketing and technology services company Monks, which will be demonstrating the solution at IBC 2024.
Today, viewers are consuming live media in ever more personalized ways, including streaming, VR/AR, social media, and more traditional methods. NVIDIA Holoscan for Media enables broadcasters, solutions providers, and developers to easily build live media pipelines supercharged with AI, and then deploy them across media infrastructures powered by NVIDIA-accelerated hardware. AI-enabled media solutions like NVIDIA Holoscan for Media help studios deliver the right content at the right time to the right audience.
Assembling and deploying NVIDIA Holoscan for Media on such infrastructure can require technical expertise due to the wide range of systems and use cases supported. To simplify the setup for DevOps and IT teams, broadcasters can now turn to RAVEL and its Orchestrate software. With its powerful automated orchestration tools and intelligent error-checking capabilities, RAVEL Orchestrate ensures seamless deployment of NVIDIA Holoscan for Media and its software stack, including Kubernentes, to compatible NVIDIA-accelerated infrastructure, either in the cloud or on bare metal.
“We’ve been solving orchestration and virtualization challenges for clients in the media and entertainment industries for over a decade. Today, we’re thrilled to be collaborating with experts at NVIDIA and Monks to support broadcasters transitioning to modern, AI-accelerated live media workflows,” said Denise Muyco, CEO and co-founder of RAVEL.
“RAVEL joining the NVIDIA Holoscan for Media partner ecosystem means developers and customers can now fast-track setup, streamline deployment, and get right to work with Holoscan for Media, taking advantage of its resource scalability and the latest video, predictive, and generative AI technologies,” said Guillaume Polaillon, Holoscan for Media Product Manager at NVIDIA.
