Netflix, and Airoha Technology, a subsidiary of MediaTek, have announced a strategic partnership to support seamless Netflix integration for set-top boxes used by operators worldwide.
This collaboration aims to accelerate time to market and foster innovation, creating opportunities for operators to enhance their service offerings with Netflix and compete effectively in the ever-evolving media landscape.
As part of the partnership, both companies will start to leverage their respective technological to seek for innovative and futuristic possibilities that simplify the integration of Netflix into operator device ecosystems. This effort expects to enable operators to deliver a seamless viewing experience to their customers, while reducing operational costs and the time required to launch new services.
Through this strategic partnership, Netflix and AIROHA aim to build a robust framework for ongoing innovation, enabling operators to stay competitive in a fast-paced market. The companies say they are committed to working closely with operators to support their needs and drive sustainable growth.
