Sandbox launches PlayKids+ on LG Smart TVs

Sandbox Group, the London-based group operating a network of learning businesses, is launching a new app, PlayKids+, on LG Smart TVs worldwide that will go live in a new dedicated learning hub on the platform.
The PlayKids+ mobile app features a collection of learning videos, original animations, nursery rhymes and lullabies and games for kids with a fun user interface that grows with the kids and adapts to their age. It is available in four different languages (English, Spanish, Portuguese and French) and has been downloaded over 20 million times worldwide.
The new LG Smart TV app will offer PlayKids+’s education videos, music and original productions in one safe place, running on LG’s webOS 5.0 or higher, including LG’s OLED TVs. AThe PlayKids+ app will offer kids educational content in a customisable interface featuring an array of popular characters.
Amongst traditional learning videos like Alphablocks and Numberblocks, children will find art and craft shows such as Super Hands, science videos like YOUniverse and LilDoc, as well as themed videos teaching kids about animals, how to act positively with friends and family, how to look after the environment, and more.
