Roku launches Ads Manager
September 18, 2024
Roku has announced the launch of Roku Ads Manager, a direct self-service solution designed for CTV performance. With TV ad spending shifting further away from linear and digital-native marketers eager to diversify beyond search and social, Roku Ads Manager is custom-built to help growth marketers succeed.
“In order to meet growth marketers’ needs across all direct-to-consumer brands, we built a seamless solution to buying CTV video ads for brands of any size,” said Louqman Parampath, VP of Product Management, Roku. “Roku Ads Manager is uniquely positioned to offer data, optimisation, and ad formats that no other CTV self-serve solution has, like native shoppable campaigns with Shopify, all while providing a familiar buying experience similar to search and social.”
“We’re expanding our partnership with Roku to leverage Shopify’s Checkout and unlock a new self-serve sales channel for Shopify merchants to reach more customers with shoppable ads,” said Mani Fazeli, VP of Product, Shopify. “This type of highly engaging and embedded commerce on connected TVs is precisely the type of innovation consumers crave.”
Roku Ads Manager is the latest addition to Roku’s portfolio of products for advertisers, offering maximum choice in how they purchase the company’s advertising supply. From major brands to small businesses, Roku says it is focused on democratising access to CTV and making it easier to drive better results.
Louis Chong, Paid Acquisition Manager, Acorns, commented: “CTV is a rapidly expanding category, and Roku is uniquely placed to provide new incremental ad inventory to reach new audiences. A consistent CTV presence tends to generate stronger CVR over time. With Roku’s ability to connect with relevant demographics – it just makes sense to have Roku part of the CTV mix.”
Hobson Brown, Co-Founder, Criquet Shirts, added: “Roku Ads Manager made it incredibly easy for Criquet Shirts to enter the CTV space. The platform’s intuitive setup and unique interactive ad formats allowed us to quickly create and launch campaigns, all while effectively reaching key geos and audiences on the big screen.”
