Fox taps Vizio’s Home Screen to launch new series

Vizio has announced an expanded partnership with Fox Entertainment, which is leveraging VIZIO’s full suite of ad storytelling capabilities to support the launch of its new lifeguard action series, Rescue: HI-Surf, which airs in the US on Fox.
The experience begins on Vizio’s Home Screen, where millions of viewers will be greeted with custom creative for Rescue: HI-Surf, across high-impact units including Hero, Discover, and Recommends. The experience also includes a custom Animation creative deployment utilising VIZIO’s Home Screen Spotlight unit.
In addition to driving awareness to the series’ premiere (which was September 22nd) and its regular Monday timeslot, the campaign also encourages viewers to tune-in Next Day on Hulu and directs Vizio viewers to watch the series on-demand.
To complement the Smart TV Home Screen experience, Fox is leveraging Vizio’s CTV Video capabilities to reach viewers across ad-supported streaming environments. For the campaign, Fox will be running a series of :15 and :30 video spots across Vizio’s WatchFree+ and AVoD partner apps.
The integration makes Fox the first to leverage Vizio’s Animation capabilities in the Spotlight unit on its Home Screen, providing viewers with a new, highly engaging experience. The sponsorship runs until the end of September.
