Orange Spain has added the OTT service Filmin for free for three months (as of September 30th). After the free offer, the service will be available to subscribers for €7.99 per month – €2 less than the regular price.

Subscribers to Orange will be able to access a library of some 15,000 titles offered by the streaming service with a strong spotlight on independent cinema and globally renowned TV series.

Filmin, which has been present in the market since 2007, has become a key OTT platform for independent cinema lovers in Spain and Portugal. The platform has output deals with several International content providers such as Sony, Universal, Paramount, MGM and the BBC.

Ignacio García-Legaz, general director of Orange Television, commented: “Our objective is to offer our customers the most complete and versatile television offering in the entire Spanish television panorama, with proposals for all tastes, and always with the highest quality. Our agreement with Filmin offers us the opportunity to add to our catalogue one of the most recognised platforms in Spain by both the public and critics, and in a differential and exclusive way for our clients. It is further proof of our desire for continuous improvement, giving our customers the opportunity to personalise their entertainment offer and, paraphrasing Filmin, ensuring that there is now a special and specific Orange TV for each viewer.”

José Antonio De Luna, co-founder and COO of Filmin, added: “Our dream has been to bring the best cinema to every home. This agreement allows us to continue growing in that direction and reach new viewers, offering Orange customers a unique catalogue.”
