Netflix reveals first look at Harlan Coben’s Missing You

October 3, 2024

Netflix has released the first look images for Missing You, the new limited series adapted from Harlan Coben’s novel.

Missing You will star Rosalind Eleazar in the lead role as Kat Donovan, a detective specialising in Missing Persons. Starring alongside her is Ashley Walters, Richard Armitage, Sir Lenny Henry, Steve Pemberton, Jessica Plummer and James Nesbitt. The five part series arrives on Netflix in 2025, and follows the success of Harlan Coben’s Fool Me Once, recently named as #1 most-viewed TV show on Netflix for the first half of 2024.

Missing You is produced by Quay Street Productions (part of ITV Studios). Harlan Coben will serve as executive producer through his company, Final Twist Productions.

Eleven years ago Detective Kat Donovan’s fiancé Josh – the love of her life – disappeared and she’s never heard from him since. Now, swiping profiles on a dating app, she suddenly sees his face and her world explodes all over again. Josh’s reappearance will force her to dive back into the mystery surrounding her father’s murder and uncover long-buried secrets from her past.

In keeping with previous Coben adaptations, Missing You relocates the story from the US to the UK. Filming took place in and around Manchester and the North West of England.

Missing You is the latest collaboration between bestselling author Coben and Netflix. Coben continues his work with local screenwriters from around the world to bring his novels to life on screen.
