Mallen joins AMC Networks as SVP Agency & Client Partnerships
October 4, 2024
AMC Networks has announced that Lisa Mallen had joined the company as its senior vice president of agency and client partnerships. In this new role, Mallen will drive cross-platform sales efforts across the company’s distribution ecosystem spanning television networks, its own streaming services and partner platforms.
She reports to Evan Adlman, the company’s executive vice president of commercial sales and revenue operations, alongside Todd Schwartzman, senior vice president of agency and client partnerships.
“The audiences for our content have never been larger, but they are fragmented across multiple endpoints, so leveraging the power of our high-quality programming requires a cross-platform approach to make sure advertising messages reach our entire viewing audience,” Adlman said. “Lisa has the perfect background and expertise in managing agency and client relationships to drive our go-to-market strategies in this new world of consumption and delivery.”
“I’m thrilled to join a company with such a proud history of making high-quality content that breaks through with viewers and in popular culture, coupled with an expansive distribution strategy for these changing times that ensures our shows and films are available wherever and whenever someone might choose to watch,” Mallen added. “The ability to offer marketers unique and innovative partnerships and reach across all distribution endpoints, built around sophisticated and advanced audience insights, makes this such an exciting and unique opportunity to create value for our company and partners.”
Mallen joins AMC Networks from A+E Networks, where she was a senior vice president responsible for the company’s national client direct, strategy, boutique agency and new marketer partnership development efforts. She joined A+E in 2014 after spending 10 years at Discovery Communications as vice president and national sales manager of OWN, the Oprah Winfrey Network. She was part of the team behind the launch of the network, and oversaw OWN’s national sales efforts, managing sales teams across New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Detroit and Atlanta.
Earlier in her career, Mallen worked for a variety of other Discovery networks and was also sales director for Tribune’s WGN Superstation. She is an active member of the ANA’s SeeHer organisation.
