Extreme H, the hydrogen-powered motorsport championship, has announced an extension with Italian broadcast partner Mediaset.
Extreme H combines high-octane racing with a strong commitment to sustainability. Following the success of Extreme E, the electric off-road racing series, Extreme H will pioneer hydrogen technology in motorsport, aiming to set a new standard for sustainability in racing.
Mediaset has been a key broadcast provider of Extreme E in Italy over the past four seasons, bringing its races to millions of viewers. The extension of this deal into the hydrogen-powered Extreme H series reaffirms Mediaset’s commitment to innovative sports and sustainable entertainment.
Giorgio Giovetti, Head of Sport Rights Acquisition, commented: “We’re thrilled to continue our partnership with Extreme E and now expand it to include Extreme H. As hydrogen is set to play a vital role in the future of clean mobility, Mediaset is excited to bring this groundbreaking motorsport to Italian fans.”
Ali Russell, Managing Director of Extreme H, added: “We’re delighted to expand our relationship with Mediaset for the Extreme H series. Hydrogen represents the future of clean energy in mobility, and Mediaset will be crucial in sharing this next-generation motorsport with fans across Italy. Together, we aim to showcase the thrilling possibilities of hydrogen racing while inspiring action toward a sustainable future.”
