Location Collective adds Pentland Group’s former London HQ to portfolio
January 13, 2025
Location Collective, a provider of production space and filming locations, has announced its exclusive representation of the former corporate headquarters of the Pentland Group in North Finchley. The Lakeside Campus, an expansive and versatile site, is now available for film, television, and commercial productions with key features including:
- The combination of retro and contemporary aesthetics – features two main buildings surrounding a picturesque lake, a modern office block with a glass boathouse reception area that extends onto the water, and a 1970s-style tower block.
- Endless filming possibilities – through its multi-level layout of open plan offices, retail units, and welfare areas; providing an ideal double for an educational campus, large HQ, airport concourse, shopping centre, police station or hospital.
- Flexible, on-site production support space – with 288 car parking spaces and additional areas of hard standing available for both crew and unit bases.
- Ideal film location and production hub for all projects – the site is self-contained, secure and adaptable, and is suitable for long-term hires and full-site takeovers, as well as short-term and fast turnaround productions.
The newly vacant site served as the headquarters for the globally renowned Pentland Group, a majority shareholder of JD Sports and owner of iconic global brands including Speedo, Berghaus, Canterbury of New Zealand, ellesse, Mitre and more, all of which were housed at the North London HQ.
Antony Iredale, Founder, Location Collective, said: “We are thrilled to represent this incredible property which offers a unique and versatile site in the heart of London for filmmakers and production teams. Location Collective has acquired several high-profile locations to its portfolio in recent months – including the iconic Battersea Power Station – and the exclusive addition of The Lakeside Campus further strengthens our reputation as the UK leader in sourcing unique and adaptable filming spaces for the creative industries.”
Andy Long, Director at Pentland Group, added: “Pentland Group are delighted to be working exclusively with the Location Collective team, renowned experts in sourcing and facilitating filming opportunities. This partnership gives our former HQ building a second life as a vibrant hub for film and TV production. With one TV production hire already secured, we’re excited to see what further opportunities this collaboration will bring.”
