Altman Solon opens office in Stockholm
January 22, 2025

Altman Solon, the global strategy consulting firm focused on Telecommunications, Media, and Technology (TMT), has opened an office in Stockholm, Sweden. Altman Solon has hired Telecommunications and Technology expert Jonatan Matsson as a Partner to run the office, which will serve as the hub for Altman Solon’s operations in the Nordics as the firm recruits more talent to support its client base in the region.
“We are excited to be able to serve our existing and future clients in the region from this new office, building on the work we have already done across the region. We are thrilled to welcome Jonatan to the firm,” said Altman Solon Managing Partner Dan Lerner. “Following up on the recent launch of our Amsterdam office, the Stockholm office underscores our commitment to growing and supporting our client base in Europe.”
Matsson joins the firm after more than 20 years of advising TMT clients on strategic and operational matters in the Nordics and globally. Before Altman Solon, Matsson led the Nordic offices of Kearney and before that was the European head of Kearney’s Communications, Media, and Technology practice.
“Jonatan has impressive professional experience in the Nordics and understands the dynamics of the region’s TMT sectors,” added Lerner. “His areas of expertise – including AI, telecom B2B, and new telecom product development – mirror that of the region, making him the right choice to run our Stockholm office.”
“This new office will help us solidify our relationships with the region’s top TMT verticals, including integrated telcos, fixed and mobile infrastructure, data centers, as well as IT services, software, and technology in general,” commented Matsson. “The Nordics TMT markets are poised for growth, and we welcome the opportunity to help clients navigate the changing business and investor markets.”
Stockholm is Atman Solon’s 15th global office, following the opening of an Amsterdam office in November 2024.
