Boxee App for iPad

Boxee has confirmed the availability of its free app on Apple’s iPad. According to Boxee, the app consists of five major functions: Friends, Watch Later, Featured, PC to iPad and iPad to TV. Through the Friends function, Boxee delivers new videos friends are sharing on Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr directly to the user’s iPad. The Watch Later feature enables users to bookmark videos from the Internet and automatically stores them on the iPad.
Featured is a collection of videos recommended by Boxee’s editorial staff and PC to iPad streams videos from a PC/Mac to the iPad over WiFi through the Boxee Media Manager PC/Mac app. iPad to TV sends videos on the iPad straight to the TV via a Boxee Box.
