February 7, 2013

Euroconsult, the global consulting firm in the space sector, has announced the hiring of two new executives and six affiliate experts. This talent expansion marks the celebration of Euroconsult’s 30 year anniversary as the world leader in satellite industry consulting, research and summits.

Euroconsult relies on a multi-cultural team of 30 based in Paris, Montreal and Washington, D.C., and now welcomes two seasoned satellite executives to the team; Philippe Campenon as Deputy Director for Space and Earth observation, and Deepu Krishnan as Senior Consultant for the firm’s Satcom business division.

Mr. Campenon brings 25 years of experience in engineering, business development and sales in the space and Earth observation industry. Mr. Campenon began his career in engineering, developing hardware and satellite payloads at EADS Astrium for nearly a decade. He then served as a business development manager for Astrium GEO-Information Services, directing sales in Asia-Pacific and Latin American regions. His international command in business development and sales will help support Euroconsult’s growing global client base.

Mr. Krishnan brings senior management expertise in the procurement and business development of satellite services. Prior to joining Euroconsult, he worked as business development manager for a major satellite service provider in Europe responsible for sales and marketing of broadcast and data services for Europe, Middle East and African satellite markets. Mr. Krishnan also worked as a scientist for the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) taking part in number of launch and space exploration missions, and later on as a business development manager providing project management support at Antrix Corporation, ISRO for communications satellite business.

Euroconsult is also pleased to introduce its newly launched network of senior affiliate consultants to support the firm’s research and consulting services. Assisting Euroconsult’s international team of in-house experts will be:

“I would like to welcome our new staff and look forward to collaborating with them and our partners to deliver precise, independent and viable results,” said Pacôme Révillon, CEO at Euroconsult.

The recent hiring comes right at the conclusion of another year of very good growth for the company. “The new team’s profound work experience, track record of success and leadership acumen is exactly what the firm needs for its next major phase of growth. And there is still more to come,” said Révillon.
