TeliaSonera has launched an online Eurovision platform for all Eurovision Song Contest fans.
“This year the Eurovision Song Contest will have a global social platform where everyone can interact and share content with each other. At the website you will find our own exclusive content such as interviews and live broadcasts with the participating artists, photos and films, tweets and unique moments about the artists preparing for the final,” says Piret Mürk Dubout, Head of the project at TeliaSonera.
From May 11th, TeliaSonera will broadcast interviews and performances from the participating artists live from their Purple glass studio, at Gustav Adolfs Torg in Malmö.
“The Eurovision Song Contest is one of the largest TV events in Europe with over 125 million viewers. As one of the top three global IP backbone providers we connect 345 million end-users. With our network and our technique we have high ambitions and are expecting over 10 million new streams at supercharged.eurovision.tv,” says Piret Mürk Dubout. “We are going to make the Eurovison Song Contest supercharged!”
