AMC Networks is rebranding film channel CTK in Spain to Sundance Channel. The rebrand will widely extend the distribution of Sundance Channel.
From October 1st, Sundance Channel’s mix of first run original drama alongside independent films and documentaries fresh from some of the world’s most prestigious festivals will be available to subscribers throughout Spain who formerly received CTK.
Eduardo Zulueta, Managing Director of AMC Networks International – Iberia and Latin America, stated, “CTK’s transition to Sundance Channel will be a great opportunity to grow viewership on our partners’ platforms by sharing fresh, new compelling original programming with their subscribers.”
Bruce Tuchman, President of AMC Global and Sundance Channel Global, commented, “Spain continues to be one of our biggest priority expansion markets in Western Europe. We’re looking forward to offering an exclusive selection of distinctive independent-minded programming to local audiences throughout Spain.”
