Aymeric de Cardes appointed Director of TDF Media Services Division

As of March 16th, Aymeric de Cardes is appointed Director of the TDF Media Services Division, which includes Arkena and Mediamobile, taking over from Julien Seligmann, who has left the company.

Arkena came about from the January 2014 merger of Cognacq-Jay Image, PSN, Qbrick and SmartJog, and has 400 employees. Arkena operates in France, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Poland, Norway, Spain, UK and USA.

Arkena delivers solutions throughout the entire AV value chain for over 1500 customers including Canal Plus, beIN Sports, Orange, Fox International Channels, etc.

Arkena positions itself as an European leader for end-to-end OTT delivery platforms.

Backed by its longstanding experience in broadcasting, expertise in multiplatform content management and its powerful systems and networks infrastructure, Arkena can provide high-tech solutions such as digital content storage, file transfers, delivery of files for all terminal types, streaming and on-demand screening, broadcasting management, etc.

Mediamobile is the leading real-time mobile and traffic information services operator in France, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark and Poland. The company relies on TDF Group’s network to broadcast its V-Traffic services.

Aymeric de Cardes reports directly to Olivier Huart and he is invited on the TDF Executive Committee.
