Digi extends AMC, Discovery sports carriage

Hungarian telco Digi Communications has extended carriage deals with AMC Networks International and Discovery that will allow it to continue offering a range of sports channels to customers in Hungary and Romania.
The long-term extension with AMC Networks sees Sport1 and Sport2 continue to be among nine channels offered by Digi in Hungary.
Digi’s deal with Discovery Romania ensures continued carriage in the country for the Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2 channels, along with Discovery Channel, TLC and Travel Channel, as well as the soon to launch HGTV. Eurosport 2 will only be available in Digi’s digital package with Eurosport 1 offered in both the digital and analogue packages.
