OKAST & Quortex establish strategic partnership

October 18, 2021

OKAST, The SaaS solution for publishing white-label video streaming platforms, has signed a strategic partnership to integrate the SaaS Quortex I / O solution, which is based on the technology of “Just-In-Time-Everything”, developed and patented by Quortex since its creation in 2018.

Launched 4 years ago, the OKAST offer is growing strongly, driven particularly by the boom in online video consumption linked to the coronavirus crisis and intense live streaming activity. This growth allows OKAST to consolidate its status as a leading SaaS solution in the creation of white label platforms via a flexible and robust tool, allowing the deployment of OTT platforms on web, mobile or TV applications with an extremely competitive time-to-market.

A founding member of “Greening of Streaming”, Quortex offers solutions in the cloud that integrate all the building blocks necessary for the worldwide distribution of video content. Quortex’s unique technology allows it to offer new usages of personalized video and provides a recognized quality of experience while offering a risk-free and ultra-competitive business model, regardless of the volume broadcast.

Quortex provides its “Just-In-Time-Everything” technology, which delivers, in real time, only the video qualities actually demanded by end users. This major evolution in the streaming technology strategy allows great savings on encoding and distribution costs, but above all makes it possible to deploy now a concrete solution to reduce the ecological impact of streaming platforms based on OKAST.

Cédric Monnier, CEO of OKAST said: “We are delighted to be able to provide our customers with a new version of our live and linear streaming solution, which is more economical and more responsible. This partnership is a further step in OKAST’s commitment to place video at the heart of all of our customers’ activities while initiating a profound transformation towards technologies that care about their ecological impact.

Marc Baillavoine, CEO of QUORTEX said “Forming this partnership with OKAST was obvious: our companies share a certain vision of technology which must remain a means, as responsible as possible, of carrying our customers’ content. We are very pleased with this collaboration, which will allow the technological excellence of Quortex to be combined with the incredible quality of the OKAST platform.”
