My Friend Misty debuts on Sky Kids in May

April 26, 2023

New Sky Original series My Friend Misty, executive produced by Fearne Cotton, will debut on Sky Kids on May 1st.

The animated and live-action hybrid sees colourful and magical Misty, narrated by Daisy Haggard, help children navigate everyday situations by teaching them brilliant tips to stay calm and strategies that will help them move forward.

Whether it’s feeling nervous about going to the dentist, arguing with their best friend, or getting their hair cut, the series highlights that children have worries too.  Fortunately Misty is on hand to help. She pops up with surprise visits in each episode to help and inspire kids.

Cotton commented: “From friendship and magic to solving those everyday worries, this is a beautiful show to help children deal with their emotions. I can’t wait for you to meet My Friend Misty in this first Happy Place co-production”.

Lucy Murphy, Director of Kids Content at Sky UK, added: “This is such a special series for Sky Kids. Just because you’re little it doesn’t mean you don’t have dramas in your life. With recognisable, everyday situations, a brilliant cast of children and the help of the charming Misty, kids will laugh, learn and develop their own emotional resilience. We’re thrilled to be adding this explorative show to our slate and hope younger viewers and families love it just as much as we do”.
