MCM Comic Con London announces first panels for October

MCM Comic Con, the celebration of all things pop culture, has revealed the first wave of out of panels that will be taking to the stage this autumn.

Attendees can ger ready to immerse themselves in a vibrant celebration of film, TV, gaming, cosplay as MCM Comic Con London returns to ExCeL London from October 27th to 29th .

Whether a first timer or seasoned fanatic, there’s something for everyone to enjoy on this October’s panel line-up. Hitting the Main Stage – which this year will be in the ICC Auditorium, holding 3x the capacity of the usual MCM Main Stage to welcome even more fans – on October 28th, actors Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene and Jackson Rathbone best known respectively for their roles across The Twilight Saga, Immortals, Bombshell and The Last Airbender will be in conversation as they talk about their long careers and answer fan questions.

On October 29th, the cast of hugely popular Dungeons & Dragons web series Critical Role (pictured) will take to the Main Stage as they chat about their history together and host an exclusive Q&A.

Additionally, both the Centre Stage and Live Stage will be packed with panels all weekend long as fans can experience the Stephen Amell Spotlight (October 27th); Bringing Baldur’s Gate 3 To Life (October 27th) – featuring 10 of the cast from the popular game; all the nostalgia from The Voices of HALO (October 28th); live D&D from Dungeons & Dragons series Oxventure (October 28th); Felicia Day Spotlight (October 28th); Aaron Dismuke Spotlight (October 29th); the cast of hit manga turned hit anime Chainsaw Man (October 29th); The Voices of The Witcher (October 20th), the largest reunion of the original voice cast – and more to be announced

Back by popular demand, the ever-popular Cosplay Masquerade will be storming the Main Stage on October 28th and 29th at MCM, showcasing the dedication and talent it takes to hand-craft exceptional cosplay. Returning fan favourites also include the Cosplay Lip Sync Battle (October 27th, Centre Stage); a live demonstration from British Sumo Champion, Mandeep Singh Kundi (October 28th, Pop Asia), Origami Drop-In Workshops (October 28th and 29th, Pop Asia); K-Pop Dance Performances (all weekend, Pop Asia), plus much more.

Fans can also meet their literary heroes creating the worlds they love from MCM’s biggest ever line-up of 65+ authors. From sapphic sci-fi, YA thrillers to epic fantasy, authors taking to the stage and signings books include Cassandra Clare (Shadowhunter Chronicles), Benjamin Dean (How to Die Famous), Holly Jackson (A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder), Juno Dawson (The Shadow Cabinet) and the cast from BBC’s Ghosts with their new book Ghosts: The Button House Archives, with more to be announced soon.

Something spooky this way comes at MCM this October, with a brand new Haunted House on the show floor, featuring interactive programming including live music; live campaigns from fan favourite Tabletop Role Playing Game writers, podcasters and streamers; free arts and crafts; Doctor Who celebrations; a horrifying Cosplay Karaoke and more – from early show open to After Hours…

As the main show floor closes, the party continues After Hours, featuring life-sized D&D; 18+ workshop programming, the MCM Arcade and celeb DJ performances where fans can throw some shapes, win prizes and make memories.

There will be plenty for yound attendees too as The Treehouse will see a variety of panels and workshops set to inspire little minds. Join the Sing Along with Elsa (October 28th) as West End performer Laura Scarlett sings the Frozen classics, the Wacky Witch will be hosting spooky themed party games, singalongs and surprises at the Wacky Witch Halloween Party (October 28th); Drag Queen Story Hour UK (October 29th) provides a fun and interactive way for kids to explore new worlds; whilst the Wizard Workshop (October 29th) will stun and amaze as MCM’s magician performs awe inspiring tricks that kids can learn for themselves too. Kids aged 10 and under go free with an adult ticket holder.
