Electric Entertainment, the Los Angeles-based production and distribution company, has acquired four feature length films from Archstone Entertainment, the distribution and sales arm of Archstone, focused on delivering high quality theatrical films to the world-wide audience. The films, headlined by “Adam the First” starring Oakes Fegley and David Duchovny, include “Futra Days,” starring Tania Raymonde, Brandon Sklenar, and Rosanna Arquette, “The Cost,” starring Jordan Fraser-Trumble, Damon Hunter and Kevin Dee and “The Group,” starring Anwen Bull and Dylan Baldwin. Electric Entertainment acquired all distribution rights for North America. The announcement was made jointly today by Dean Devlin, CEO of Electric Entertainment and Jack Sheehan, President of Worldwide Sales & Development at Archstone Entertainment.

Dean Devlin of Electric Entertainment comments on the deal, “These films have incredible star-power and universal storylines that are sure to captivate audiences throughout the US and Canada. We are pleased to have them join our library of exceptional independent cinema.”

In addition to Oakes Fegley (“Pete’s Dragon,” “The War with Grandpa”) and David Duchovny (“The X-Files,” “Californication”), “Adam the First,” also stars T.R. Knight (“Grey’s Anatomy,” “The Flight Attendant”) and Larry Pine (“Succession”, “The Grand Budapest Hotel”), and is written & directed by Irving Franco. It follows Adam, who, after his outlaw foster parents are suddenly murdered, sets out on a cross-country adventure to track down a series of men who could be his estranged father — each one with a different life that could become his. “Futra Days,” starring Tania Raymonde (“Lost,” “Goliath,” “Texas Chainsaw 3D”), Rosanna Arquette (“Pulp Fiction,” “The Whole Nine Yards”) and Brandon Sklenar (“Vice,” “Westworld”), and directed by Ryan David, is about a young man, who after undergoing an experimental time travel “process” that sends him into his future, investigates the man he has become, by engaging in a romance with his future self’s girlfriend in a mind-bending reality. “The Cost” stars Jordan Fraser-Trumble, Damon Hunter, and Kevin Dee. Directed by Matthew Holmes, the film follows two ordinary men who, intent on dispensing their own brutal form of justice, abduct a felon who committed a horrific crime many years before. “The Group,” starring Anwen Bull and Dylan Baldwin and directed by William Higo is about a support group for addicts that comes under siege from a mysterious gunman, intent on punishing them for a past tragedy. All with something to hide, the group must confront their shared past to discover the truth and stay alive.

The deal was negotiated by Ben Kim, VP of Development & Acquisitions for Electric Entertainment and Jack Sheehan, President of Worldwide Sales & Development for Archstone Entertainment.
