TechniSat and Vectra continue collaboration

Vectra is to continue its collaboration with TechniSat Digital to support planned growth in subscriber numbers from 175,000 to 240,000 in 2009. Vectra is Poland's leading provider of digital cable TV with 175,000 subscribers and availabile in 137 cities across the country. The range of digital receivers offered to subscribers is subject to continual development and from May 2008 Vectra has delivered its services with the TechniSat Digit MF4-K CXV using Conax conditional access system.
The alliance of TechniSat Digital and Vectra started in June 2006 with digital receivers produced in TechniSat's facilities in Oborniki Slaskie, Poland. Since then, TechniSat has provided 36,000 Digit MF4-K receivers and 92,000 Digit MF4-K CXV receivers, accounting for nearly 75 per cent of the receivers used by Vectra's subscriber base.
