Eurosport, the pan-regional sports entertainment destination, has confirmed a strengthening of the senior leadership team with four key appointments and changes that further integrate Discovery Communications and Eurosport lines of business in France
Arnaud Simon, previously Managing Director Eurosport France and Director TV Content has been promoted to SVP, Content and Production for the Eurosport Group. Arnaud is a Eurosport veteran, having joined over twenty years ago.
Laurent Prud’Homme has been promoted to SVP, Rights Acquisitions and Syndication with a remit to stimulate both local and multi-territory rights acquisition. Prud’Homme has been integral in numerous significant deals from the UEFA Champions League in Singapore, to the long-term renewals of Eurosport’s winter sports and cycling portfolios.
Jonathan Davies is joining the Group as Managing Director, Advertiser Partnerships for Eurosport and Discovery Pan-Europe. In this newly created position, Davies will lead both Eurosport Pan-Regional and Discovery International Ad Sales teams. He joins Eurosport from CNN where he spent 12 years, most recently as EVP CNN International responsible for global ad sales, commercial programme production and marketing.
Former Development Director for Eurosport, Julien Bergeaud, is promoted to SVP, Country Manager France and Sports Rights Southern Europe. In the newly combined Eurosport and Discovery France business, Bergeaud will lead the entire portfolio in France.
