Poland: Showmax, T-Mobile partnership

Showmax and T-Mobile have partnered to give all T-Mobile customers in Poland 90 days’ access to Showmax at no charge. The deal is valid for all customers, both prepaid and contract, from December 7th. T-Mobile customers subscribed to Supernet Video have the added benefit that data used to watch Showmax content will not be deducted from their monthly data allowance.
Showmax launched in Poland in February 2017 and has established itself as one of the most popular paid internet TV services in the country. Showmax is well-known for supporting local Polish content, with shows such as Ucho Prezesa (The Chairman’s Ear), movies such as Ksiadz (Priest), and animation such as Egzorcysta (Exorcist).
Last week Showmax debuted Saturday Night Live Polska marking the first time the popular NBCUniversal format has been brought to Central and Eastern Europe, and also marked the first time Showmax had added live streaming capability to the platform.
