Global security provider Conax introduces new leadership for Americas

Conax lifts North America executive Rohit Mehra to strategic role spearheading new blueprint for including South America expansion

Conax, a leading global provider of solutions for protecting multi-device digital content, today announced that Rohit Mehra will take the strategic role of heading both sales and business development for Conax in the Americas. In an initiative to capitalize on and capture a sizeable share of the emerging Latin America and advanced pay-tv markets of North America, the content security solutions provider has created the new position to synchronize shared interests between its markets and drive growth of the Conax brand in the Americas.

Previously Vice President, Conax North America, Mr. Mehra will now partner closely with Conax’ Latin America daughter company  to create a unified presence in the Americas, including strong relations to product development  and other key functions and expertise provided by Conax’ global organization. Conax has recently revamped its Brazil-based Latin America team including introduction of Mr. Tryggve Arveschoug to manage its portfolio key accounts – prominent pay-tv operators in the region. Mr. Arveschoug brings considerable industry experience. The two leaders will work closely with the rest of the Americas’ team to drive Conax’ position as a security partner for the future.

In a move to strengthen Conax’ strategy for the America, we are pleased to announce that Mr. Rohit Mehra has been appointed Vice President Americas, ” confirmed Erik Tordhol, EVP Sales & Marketing Conax.

“The new position will drive development of a strong, motivated team and bring in new and dynamic talent to provide support in the region,” continues Tordhol. “Since joining Conax in North America, Rohit has developed key partnerships, increased brand recognition and has procured Conax’ largest customer in North America, Cablemás, Mexico.”

Latin America is a key focus area for the Conax long term strategy. The company is strongly committed to continued development in the region together with its valued customers and partners.
