CBS Chello Zone new on-air look

February 4, 2013

The newly expanded CBS Chello Zone Channels Partnership has revealed a family of new on air brand identities for the portfolio, across all UK and EMEA channels, as well as new programming for the Spring season across EMEA.

Viewers across EMEA will see the new on air looks created by Studio Hansa which reinforce the distinct identities of each channel.  The UK channels, which include Horror Channel, CBS Drama, CBS Reality and CBS Action, will roll out the new visuals from early Spring.

Viewers in Poland will be able to tune-in to a range of new programming on CBS Drama from Spring 2013. Programmes will include the popular Aussie mini-series Return To Eden and Return to Eden The Story Continues, and legal drama series Philly. CBS Reality will introduce two new real-life police and fire-fighter series, On Patrol and On Duty, across all feeds.

In Poland, where CBS Europa and CBS Action are also on offer, audiences will be treated to the epic Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves and mini-series North and South set during the American Civil War on CBS Europa and mystery thrillers Harper’s Island, Stephen King’s The Stand and The Langoliers parts 1 & 2, plus the original series of Mission Impossible for CBS Action.

Chris Sharp, Chief Programming Officer for CBS Chello Zone Channels Partnership said:  “Following the extension of the CBS Chello Zone partnership across some of our EMEA channels last year we are now in a position to refresh the on air look across the portfolio in all markets.  The new look of the channels and the continued investment in quality content are the latest examples of the positive developments to come from this successful partnership.”
