September 29, 2014

Deezer, the digital music streaming service, has announced a deal with telco UPC Ireland which will see the popular music app available in Ireland on the Horizon App browser. The Apps on the Horizon TV HD+ box turn any TV into a Smart TV, and include 49 Apps from providers such as Youtube, Facebook and Twitter all of which are seamlessly integrated into the Horizon TV service.

Featuring over 35 million tracks, users will be able to enjoy a breadth of music services including on-demand music, editorial recommendations, personalised playlists as well as access to partner and artist specific radio stations – all through Deezer’s intuitive UI, which will be available as an automatic update this week.

Commenting on the partnership, Clément Cezard, Chief Business Development Officer at Deezer said: “We are delighted to be partnering with UPC to offer their customers easy access to our enhanced music services. We look forward to helping music fans across the country discover their next favourite track, right from the comfort of their sofa at home.”
