July 8, 2015

AMC Networks has become the latest programmer to develop a SVoD platform. The US company is beta-testing Shudder, a streaming service that specialises in horror movies.

AMC has yet to announce when the platform will officially launch, but it did reveal that it will be available for iOS and Android mobile devices, as well as Roku.

AMC has offered those who have signed up for the platform’s beta to try it for free for two months. When the platform does launch, Shudder will charge $4.99 a month.
