Germany: ProSiebenSat.1, 1&1 distribution agreement

ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE and 1&1 have concluded a distribution agreement. Thus, the free TV and pay-TV channels of ProSiebenSat.1 Group will be available in Germany through the long term through the IPTV offer 1&1 Digital TV.
With the agreement, 1&1 customers can receive ProSiebenSat.1’s extensive portfolio of channels: The agreement includes the free TV channels ProSieben, SAT.1, kabel eins, sixx, SAT.1 Gold, ProSieben MAXX and kabel eins Doku. The pay-TV channels SAT.1 emotions and kabel eins CLASSICS can be added by 1&1 customers upon request – ProSieben FUN HD and Wetter.com will also be available shortly.
In addition to the non-linear functions such as Instant Restart, which enables a show that has already started to be started again from the beginning at the touch of a button and provides the option of storing shows in the cloud (NPVR), the HbbTV offerings of ProSiebenSat.1 are available. This way, 1&1 Digital TV customers can access in-depth information on the program and on-demand content.
