INASGOC partnership with Deltatre

The Indonesia Asian Games Organising Committee (INASGOC) has announced that Deltatre, the sports media and technology services company, has been selected to design, create and power the Official Games Time website and mobile applications for the 18th Asian Games Jakarta Palembang 2018 – the first time in Asian history two cities will co-host the event.

The oldest and most prestigious event on the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) calendar, INASGOC, conducted a worldwide search for a specialist in creating leading-edge, digital platforms capable of serving its massive fan base across Asia. INASGOC and Deltatre will jointly develop a best-in-class responsive website and mobile apps powered by Deltatre’s award-winning Multisport Platform, Forge, built to deliver the unique digital demands of a Games for Organising Committees and Broadcasters around the world.

Launched in 1951, the Asian Games are recognised by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) as the world’s largest multi-sport event. The 18th edition will include 40 Sports, 67 Disciplines, and more than 10,000 athletes from 45 National Governing Bodies fiercely competing in this year’s two-week event being jointly hosted by Jakarta and Palembang, Indonesia. In addition to all the traditional sports, Deltatre has customised its solution to include sports such as Sepak Takraw, Pencak Silat, Wushu and Kabaddi that are traditional to Asian culture.

In addition to the technology partnership, it was also announced that Deltatre will become an official ‘Supporting Sponsor’; Deltatre’s first sponsorship of a global sports competition.
