BBC Studios Productions, the UK’s most awarded producer, has appointed Lisa McCormack as Director of Production for its Entertainment & Music division, which makes some of the UK’s biggest entertainment and music shows, including Strictly Come Dancing, Later… with Jools Holland, Eurovision and Glastonbury.

Suzy Lamb, Managing Director, Entertainment & Music, BBC Studios said: “Lisa comes with extensive knowledge of global entertainment and music productions and a proven commercial track record. I’m delighted she is taking on this important new role and will be working with me to manage entertainment and music content that audiences love.”

McCormack said: “BBC Studios produces some of the UK’s best and most creative entertainment and music shows. I couldn’t resist the opportunity to come and work with Suzy and the team at this exciting time, as they look to grow the business.”

McCormack will help define and deliver the business and commercial strategy for the division and lead the production and business teams. She was previously Head of Production at Whizz Kid Entertainment.
