Private Equity deal for Isle of Man media ventures

Isle of Media – the public, private partnership launched to market globally the Isle of Man’s media cluster and guide media ventures locating on the Isle of Man – has signed a cooperation agreement with Alex DeGroote of DeGroote Consulting, during MIPCOM, the world’s largest entertainment content trade show, to improve access to private equity and funding solutions for Isle of Man media ventures.
DeGroote is a former investment banker and Media sector analyst, who is advisor to City firms Trillium Partners and Radnor Capital for the Media industry, as well as he provides advisory and investor services in his own right to a range of TMT Plcs.
“I am delighted to sign this arrangement with Isle of Media Limited,” declared DeGroote. “There is a significant opportunity to develop and scale the Media industry on the Isle of Man, which I look forward to assisting. With my background in Media and private investment, and a range of relevant relationships, I hope to add a fresh capability to an already-strong management team.”
