TV3 Group drives OTT growth with telco partnerships

February 22, 2021

TV3 Group, the Baltics media group, has increased the reach of its OTT service Go3 through cooperation agreements with major telecommunications companies, cable operators and IPTV providers such as Bite, Tele2, Telia and Baltcom. With its strong partners, Go3 has grown its paying subscriber base to more than 200,000, a substantial part being on long-term contracts (24 months).

With a threefold increase in paying subscribers throughout 2020, Go3 is the largest OTT SVoD service in the Baltics. The average customer spends more than 3 hours per day watching content on Go3, an increase of +300 per cent compared to 2019.

Viewers watch the Go3 content across all platforms, from mobile devices to PCs/laptops and smart TVs, with a share of almost 60 per cent on the big screen in the living room. Local original productions are a strong favourite, both on linear channels and on-demand, as well as news, sports and premium entertainment content.

“We are excited about the great subscriber growth and strong viewing figures of our OTT service Go3 which now reaches more than 10 per cent of households across the Baltics,” said Christian Anting, CEO of TV3 Group. “This confirms our strategy of reaching distribution partnerships with local platform operators while continuing to invest in original content and international productions.”

Go3 launched on December 5th 2019, offering more than 40 linear TV channels, over 1,000 movies and series on-demand as well as more than 100 hours of live sports every week including Champions League, Premier League, La Liga, Italian Serie A, UFC, EuroLeague and NBA.
